Thanks to the All Join Hands Foundation, new dancers can register at a discount.
To qualify, the dancer must meet certain conditions. They are:
1. Must have completed, at a minimum, Mainstream in accordance with Callerlab;
2. Must provide a letter from your current club, verifying dance level;
3. Has never attended a previous IAGSDC convention;
4. Has never applied to the New Dancer Convention Incentive Program;
5. Is not entitled to a refund of registration fees from convention in the event of a cancellation, except for
medical reasons.
~~WSD Uniform
Members attending the conventions will want to bring some sort of a white shirt for the Club Photo and to wear during the Grand March. Shirts with emboidery of the club logo can be ordered by following information on the APPAREL PAGE [LINK]; however any white shirt (including a T-shirt) is acceptable. Dark (preferably black) pants, crinoline or prarie skirt is suggested. Medallion Dancers are encouraged to wear the medal..................................................................

The San Francisco Convention will be held July 4 to July 7, 2013, at the Marriott. Room rate of $139 will be available June 26 to July 8.
2013 S.F. Convention VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The Weave Your Heart in San Francisco Committee is pleased to announce that we will be soliciting volunteers from the sponsoring clubs to assist with planning and implementing various aspects of the 30th Annual IAGSDC Convention to be held July 4-7, 2013. Specifically, we need individuals to commit to responsibilities of being a part of one of the committees below:• Attendee Relations and Experience – Concierge, Photography, Registration, Registration Packets, Local Restaurant List, Medallion Liaison
• Convention Business – Convention Education (Retirement Planning Seminar), GCA Caller School, Club Development Meeting, GCA Meeting, IAGSDC Meeting, GCA Caller School Dance, Website maintenance
• Entertainment – Opening Ceremonies, Closing Ceremonies, Grand March, Honky Tonk Queen Contest, Specialty Tips, Workshops, Moonshine, Trail in Dance
• Fund Raising, Publicity, Outreach – Vancouver Video, News Letters, Program Advertising, Paid Ads, Outreach to Attendees and Clubs, Memorial Room, CW/Contra/Round Dance
• Food Service – Dinner, Brunch, Water, Table Decorations, Seating Charts, Women’s Hospitality Suite • Merchandise– Merchandise Sales, Vendors, Swag/Pins
• Tours – Fun Badge Tour, Pre/Post Convention Tours, Widow’s Program, Pride Weekend, Sister Bingo, Theater • Venue – Caller’s Green Room, Caller Coordination, Flooring, Security, Sound and A/V, Logistics and Room Scheduling,Signage, Banners and Displays

2014 Convention: SALT LAKE CITY
The Temple Squares of Salt Lake City have won the bid for the 2014 Convention. Proposal details are available by viewing the PDF [LINK]. The event will be held July 3 to July 6, 2014, at the Grand America Hotel. Room rate is $150 per night + $20 per person.

2015 Convention: TBA
The Times Squares of New York City have withdrawn their the bid for the 2015 convention. St. Louis may move their consideration for 2016 to Memorial Day weekend of 2015.
