About Western Star Dancers
Western Star Dancers, one of the founding members of the International Association of Gay Square Dance Clubs (IAGSDC), was organized in March of 1982. Western Star was the first club in San Francisco to use the Callerlab format.
Western Star Dancers offers classes in Mainstream or Plus on Thursday evenings led by Rich Reel, and Club Nights with guest callers on the third Wednesday of each month. We have three annual dances and numerous social activities and events with other Bay Area square dancing clubs.
